HI!

I’m a little nervous ’cause I’ve never had a blog before that I was able to keep up with (sorry Angie! ) so I don’t wanna bungle this whole thing, or you know, bore people to death.

Um, so I live on the East Coast, on the very outskirts of Virginia, in Hampton, and we’ve been threatened by Hurricane Earl for the last week. So far it’s only given us a bit of rain and wind and I’m thankful that we weren’t blown off the map and into Oz. However, due to the fact that everyone around here is still too scared to step out of their front doors, work is a little slow at the moment … which is exactly where I’m at now. We’re closing at noon today (WHICH IS IN EXACTLY FIFTEEN MINUTES ) and my Labor Day Weekend plans are as follows – leave work, get a third hole in my right ear, spend loads of money on earrings and a new pair of Roxy shoes, have Japanese for dinner tonight with the fam fam. Go to a football game tomorrow since my buds are playing, and hopefully be on  the boat the rest of the day!

Sidenote:  I’m the type that needs to learn things the hard way SEVERAL times before it sinks in my head? Date like a man and you won’t get played like a bitch!
